What is Yoga?
To answer this, we must also address what yoga is NOT, although these things are a small part of the whole:
Yoga is not about being flexible, physically. Yoga is about being flexible in your MIND.
Yoga is not about poses or perfect form. Yoga is about practicing, learning, and knowing your BODY.
Yoga is not about achieving perfect peace, or constant meditation. Yoga is about calming the SPIRIT and quieting our lives' internal and external chatter.
Yoga is not about chanting, or learning Sanskrit. Yoga is about COMMUNICATING, with ourselves, and with the universe.
Yoga is not about classes and schedules. Yoga is about COMMUNITY…. Your sangha.
